Frequently Asked Questions
Can I install tiles directly over the heating mat?
Yes, you can lay ceramic tiles directly onto the heating mat with flexible adhesive.
Can I put carpet on top of the heating mat?
No, carpets should be installed over tile or screed, not directly on heating cables.
Can I use laminate flooring?
Yes, but use our heating film instead. It’s perfect for laminate and quick to install.
Can heating cables be connected together?
Sometimes, yes. Please contact our support for guidance on connecting heating cables safely.
Is insulation necessary?
Yes, insulation improves efficiency. Mats are sold by size—e.g., 15m² equals 0.5m width x 30m length.

Always use a flexible tile adhesive with any electric underfloor heating installation.
Can I install the mat myself?
